A number of resources are available to assist Sunday School teachers, these include lesson books, Bible instructors, music and online tools.
Lesson Books
The ACSSU lesson books have been written for use in Christadelphian Sunday Schools. Each teacher will build their lessons on the notes and adapt them where necessary to cater for the special needs and interests of children in their class. The notes are grouped in divisions for ages 4-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-11 years 12–14 years and 15 years +.
Bible Instructors
Each Bible instructor is a book of Bible verses for children and young people to commit to memory. The instructor is a tool to help young people learn the key principles of our faith as it spelled out in the Bible.
What Bible instructors are available?
- Primary (ages 6 - 8 years)
- Junior (ages 9 - 11 years)
- Intermediate (ages 12 - 14 years)
- Senior [Bro. Robert Roberts] (ages 15 years and over)
Many Sunday School teachers use the instructors as weekly 'homework' awarding stickers for incentives.
